Fodder is a new concept food shop and cafe set up and championed by the Yorkshire Agricultural Society (YAS), a registered charity which runs the Great Yorkshire Show and Countryside Live. Heather Parry, Deputy Chief Executive has scoured the county for the best producers, farmers & growers to celebrate and promote locally sourced food.
The aim of the venture, which opened in June 2009, is to inject new life into the rural economy and support the region’s farmers and producers, while offering consumers the best food and drink from the region.
What we did…
Smiths Retail Design designed and installed: Bespoke ‘U’ shaped Butchers Counter with a built in ‘Theatre Block’, Bespoke ‘U’ shaped Delicatessen Counter with both a self-serve and a serve-over section, variety of Refrigerated Multidecks, Ambient Gondolas (square, circular and rectangular), Ambient Display Shelving, Ambient Wine Display, Cladded Multidecks, Ambient Till Station, Cafe Area with ‘drop-in counters’.
